New Law for Licensing Temporary Help Agencies and Recruiters in Ontario

Important Announcement

As of July 1st, a significant change has been implemented under the Employment Standards Act in Ontario. This new law mandates that all temporary help agencies and recruiters obtain a license to operate legally within the province.

We are pleased to announce that Nannies on Call and The Nanny Solution are among the few nanny agencies currently legally authorized to operate under this new regulation.

This means that we meet the stringent standards set by the Ontario government and provide our clients with trusted and reliable services.

Key Points of the New Law:

  1. Mandatory Licensing: All temporary help agencies and recruiters must be licensed to operate in Ontario.
  2. Client Responsibility: Clients who engage with agencies that do not possess a valid licence will be subject to fines. Verifying the licensing status of any agency you plan to work with is crucial.
